The Legacy Golf Club, located in nearby Henderson, Nevada, is a favorite among locals and visitors to the area. The golf course has received numerous awards since its opening in 1989 and continues to have a reputation as one of the best courses in Southern Nevada. It has been named one of the “Top 10 Courses You Can Play in Nevada” by Golf Digest, “Best Course in Southern Nevada” by Nevada Magazine, “Top 500 Courses to Play in America” by Golf Digest, and “Top 100 Golf Shops in the Country” by Golf World Business. The accolades keep coming each year for this gem in the desert.

The Legacy Golf Club provides a challenge for all players. It is a demanding championship test for more skilled golfers, while providing an intriguing challenge to those playing from the forward tees, with strategy and accuracy challenges for all. The tee box area on the par-3 193 yard 10th hole is one of the most memorable and well-known holes in the Las Vegas area. Each tee box is in the shape of a playing card suit: a heart, diamond, club, and spade.

Also well known at Legacy is what is commonly referred to as “Devil’s Triangle”. These are the challenging 11th, 12th, and 13th holes that await you beginning the back nine. The layout is a triangular shape with the three holes and if you score well on these holes, it can make for a satisfying round. The 17th and 18th holes provide some of the better challenges of the day to finish up your round. The 17th is a par-5 515 yard hole that is one of the more demanding of the par-5’s on the course. The tee shot is open, but the hole narrows as you get past the fairway bunkers that guard each side. Water guards the left side of the fairway and green from 125 yards and in, making for one of the most challenging approach shots on the course. The 18th hole is a par-4 383 yard uphill hole with strategically placed fairway bunkers and sand guarding the green also. It provides a demanding approach to finish up, with one last good shot required.

The Legacy Golf Club features contoured and sloping fairways, with undulating and challenging greens. It is a links-style course yet has a blend of natural desert terrain. With perfectly manicured playing conditions, a memorable layout, and amazing panoramic views of the nearby mountains and the city, the course is a must play.

Legacy Golf Club has terrific features and amenities that rival any in the area. The large practice area features a driving range, putting green, as well as a chipping area. Close by is the large clubhouse, featuring one of the finest pro shop’s you’ll find, with all of the biggest names in equipment and apparel offered. The restaurant inside the clubhouse offers both breakfast and lunch options in a relaxing atmosphere with terrific views of Sunrise Mountain and the golf course. Legacy also offers top PGA professionals to help you fine tune your swing. The clubhouse is a terrific setting for banquets, weddings, and other special events. Tournament and corporate outings are also catered to by the friendly, professional staff. The tournament coordinator on staff will help guide you through every step to help provide a memorable golf event.
