Sunrise Vista Golf Course is a military course in the Northeast portion of the Las Vegas area. It caters to military members, retirees, family members and authorized guests. With over 75,000 rounds per year played, Sunrise Vista is a favorite among military personnel and their guests. Each of the 9 holes is named for an aircraft of historical significance.

The golf course is relatively flat with not many large undulations in the terrain, which makes it walking friendly and playable for golfers of all abilities. Water comes into play on several holes, has gentle sloping greens, and the course allows for beautiful views of the surrounding area.

One of the more difficult holes is the par-4 7th hole on the Falcon Course. The hole stretches 474 yards and is a dogleg left and is tight, with the fairway only being twenty-two yards wide. Accuracy is at a premium on this hole with a long iron or fairway wood on your second shot, to an awaiting green with bunkers in front and to the sides.

The Raptor Course features the 390 yard par-4 9th hole. The tee shot is critical to success on the hole with a lake along the entire right side of the hole. A solid drive leaves a short iron to the hole, however, the green is heavily guarded by bunkers on all sides.

As with many holes at Sunrise Vista, the par-4 1st hole on the Eagle Course mandates accuracy off the tee with the reward being an open shot to the green for your second shot. Large trees and bunkers guard the left side of the fairway, but a solid tee shot to the right side of the fairway leaves a short or mid iron to the green.

Fighter jets and other military aircraft periodically roar in the skies above, but most golfers will find this more of a unique attraction than a distraction.

The driving range is available with a tank as a practice target, along with 3 putting greens, and short game area. The driving range features 8 target greens and a complete pro shop is available for equipment and apparel needs. Sunrise Vista also has an experienced teaching staff available to help refine your game and is available for individual or group sessions. The teaching staff is led by a longstanding member of the PGA of America and is eager to assist you in improving your game.

The Flightview Grill is available to serve breakfast or lunch options before or after your round and is available for meetings and social events.

Sunrise Vista is also available for tournaments and special events and banquets, and the professional staff will help you with every step of planning.

Sunrise Vista is a huge favorite locally for current and former military members, and gives a unique playing experience to all who play it.
