Palm Valley Golf Course was the first of the Summerlin golf courses to open in 1989. It is the longest of the courses in Summerlin as well as its toughest. The course has a mature layout, with undulating fairways and rolling greens.

The first hole is a par-5 right out of the gates, and also the longest hole on the golf course. There are four par-3’s on the course, with the shortest being the 177-yard 3rd hole. The ten par-4’s on the course challenge all of the clubs in your bag with the shortest being 343 yards, the 14th, and the longest being 454 yards, the 5th hole. While the 5th hole is the most difficult and demanding on the course, the most difficult par 3 on the course is the 229-yard 16th. The 16th is an elevated green with three bunkers guarding the left side and a sharp drop off to the right.

The finishing hole is also a par-5 is a mild dogleg right with water guarding the right side from tee to green. Accuracy is a must here with out of bounds to the left. Bunkers guard the green on the left and in the back making for a beautiful 18th hole.

Palm Valley also offers the Vista Grille, with a large dining room for a more relaxing casual experience, and also an opportunity for a quick bite before and after your round or even at the turn. One unique aspect of the clubhouse at Palm Valley is the presence of slot machines. In the downtime before or after your round, while waiting for other members of your group or relaxing following your round, golfers can get their fix and relax in front of one of several “one arm bandits”.

Palm Valley Golf Club is just a short drive from the Las Vegas Strip and has all of the amenities that spoil golfers and visitors to the area. Make Palm Valley one of your stops on your next visit.
