Mojave Resort Golf Club has received several awards over the years, including Best Golf Course, Best Pro Shop, and Best Golf Pro and is one of the premier golf courses in the Laughlin area. The course features strategically placed bunkers, unique natural areas, and forgiving fairways, along with challenges for all golfers. The greens are receptive, with mild slopes.

The key to a good round is avoiding the fairway sand bunkers and greenside bunkers. Their strategic placement brings them into play.

If variety is what you seek, Mojave Resort gives you numerous shot options and will make you use every club in your golf bag. The mountain views are terrific along with the natural native landscape and mild undulations throughout the course. The golf course does several rates and discounts in conjunction with the local casinos and hotels in the area.

There are significant tests for all players throughout the course, but one of the first stiff ones is on the par-5 7th hole. The hole measures 539 yards and is nicknamed “Cattails” which dominate the landscape and trouble areas along the fairway. The rolling fairway is the place to be, anything in the cattails spells certain trouble. A lake guards the right side while a greenside bunker waits to the left.

The first of two major challenges on the course comes on the par-4 9th hole measuring 471 yards. Nicknamed “The Brute” and it definitely is. Not only lengthy, but add in a dogleg left and strategically placed bunkers and you have the perfect mix for the number one handicapped hole at Mojave Resort Golf Club. Golfers need to certainly keep the bunkers lining the fairway in mind around the landing area off the tee, however the real test comes with the approach shot as water guards anything over the green. If that wasn’t enough, bunkers protect the short left and right, and a large bunker sits in the back.

If the number one handicapped hole on the course wasn’t enough, the number two handicapped hole on the course comes right after it on the par-5 10th hole. Ten measures out to 569 yards and is nicknamed “Sidewinder”. This is another dogleg to the left and features ten bunkers along the way. Staying in the fairway is the key. Anything outside of the fairway invites trouble on this hole.

The par-3 17th hole brings fun to the round as the tee shot requires a full carry over water to the green. There is no room for error short, so the 17th will test golfer’s concentration and nerves.

Mojave Resort Golf Club also offers lessons and clinics for men, women, and juniors. Lessons can also be videotaped in an effort to assist your game. Playing lessons are available or at the grass driving range with one of the course’s knowledgeable teaching pros.

The practice area features a grass driving range, putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker to work on your game.

All golf carts have a GPS system to help you with yardages and locations on the course.

The clubhouse features a fully equipped pro shop with all of the top brand names in apparel and equipment and logos on many items to help you remember your trip to Mojave Resort Golf Club.
