DragonRidge Country Club sits at the higher elevations of the Las Vegas area and has extensive views of the Las Vegas Strip and the Valley. The design of the club incorporates the rolling desert foothills it sits upon, and includes sweeping elevation changes, beautiful canyons and rock formations. The course itself features wide fairways, large greens, and four tees on each hole to integrate both challenge and fairness for all skill levels. The greens at DragonRidge are annually some of the best in the Las Vegas area. Jay Morrish and David Druzisky have continued compiling an impressive resume of world-class designs, with DragonRidge being included.

One of the more picturesque holes on the course is the par-3 2nd hole which features an approximate 125 foot drop from an elevated tee to the green. The hole measures 229 yards and gives room for error to the left. Many golfers play to the right to try to get a kick off the slope toward the center of the green. Wind can easily be a factor on this hole and will influence club selection at times.
One of the more challenging holes on the course is the par-5 12th hole. Measuring out to 562 yards, this hole tests all of your accuracy and shotmaking. The 12th requires and accurate but modest tee shot short of a ravine. Rock and desert landscape guard the right side for the second shot, so typically golfers will lay up to about 120 to 150 yards out for the approach to an elevated green with a bunker guarding the front right.

Among DragonRidge’s many amenities is the 60,000 square foot practice area which features a driving range, short game area, and two bent grass putting greens. The practice area has unlimited golf balls for before your round. Golf Professionals are also available for lessons and to help sharpen your game. DragonRidge can also accommodate large groups, corporate outings, fundraisers, and other special events and offers first class service and attention to detail for all of these types of gatherings.
All golf cars are equipped with state-of-the-art GPS systems for proper yardages and locations throughout the course.

DragonRidge’s 42,000 square-foot clubhouse includes a full service fitness center, swimming pool, locker rooms, tennis courts, and fine and casual dining. The Grand Highlands Ballroom can accommodate up to 340 people for weddings, banquets, and special events.
The Country Club also features three dining choices: the Montrose Steakhouse, the Onyx Bar and Grill, and the DragonGrill.

Opening in 2009 is the Nicklaus Golf Academy at DragonRidge which features dynamic and innovative curriculum, leading edge technology, and personalized instruction from certified instructors.
MacDonald Highlands is the prestigious community that DragonRidge Country Club sits in. This community is over 1,200 acres and has some of the most beautiful custom homes in the area with spectacular views of Las Vegas and the surrounding mountains. MacDonald Highlands is a guarded-gated community and has a multitude of amenities with the centerpiece being DragonRidge Country Club.
