Nestled between three mountain ranges and a short drive away from Hoover Dam, Boulder City Golf Course is a great retreat and offers stunning views from almost anywhere on the course. Boulder City Golf Course offers a budget-friendly game of golf on a course that rivals the greens and fairways of other leading resort courses.

With a traditional layout, the course features tree-lined fairways, large greens, and several integral water features on many of the holes.

Boulder City is known as a clean, green oasis in the desert. Established in 1931 in the midst of the Great Depression, Boulder City was built as a “model” city to which the American people could look for hope of a brighter future. The city, with approximately 15,000 residents, was originally built to house the workers that were building Hoover Dam. It continues to have a quaint, small-town atmosphere, along with a historic charm only a short 20 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip.

Boulder City Golf Course has received several awards and accolades in recent years, including “Best Bargain Course in Southern Nevada” by Vegas Golfer Magazine.

Boulder City Golf Course opened in 1973, while the second 9 holes were added in 1986. The course remains well-maintained and is a very walkable and enjoyable course to play. Because of the course’s layout and flow, most rounds can be finished in under 4 ½ hours.

The golf course offers several opportunities to score well within its pleasant 18 holes. While Boulder City has a few short par-4’s, there are a couple that offer great temptations. The 8th hole measures only 275 yards, while the 11th calculates out to 338 yards. On the 8th hole water comes into play and while shorter, accuracy is important to achieving the good score golfers seek.

Occasionally the course will offer a significant challenge to golfers’ length. This is especially true on the par-4 15th hole. The hole is straight, but at 452 yards, it offers a considerable challenge. Strategically placed trees guard both sides of the fairway, but length and accuracy is what will score well on this hole.

Boulder City Golf Course has a spacious clubhouse and pro shop with the latest equipment, a bar and grill for refreshments, as well as banquet accommodations for special events. Boulder City Golf Course offers terrific golf for your budget and is well worth the short trip to this historic town.
