Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock is one of the newer courses in the area and is an Arnold Palmer Signature design. Arroyo Golf Club is a public course, while its sister course, the Red Rock Country Club Mountain Course, is private. The golf club is located west of the Las Vegas Strip near the majestic Red Rock Canyon giving fantastic views of the canyon area as well as some of the best views of the city you will find. The layout is comprised of 6 new holes with 12 holes from the original 27-hole Mountain Course at the Red Rock Country Club. Portions of the course wander along the upscale residential community of Summerlin with many picturesque homes surrounding the course that only add to its beauty.

The course features wide fairways providing wide landing areas from the tee. The course is wonderfully landscaped throughout. The tee boxes and fairways are beautifully manicured with the difficulty of the course coming from the 68 well placed bunkers that come into play.

The number one handicap hole on the Arroyo course is the par-4 4th hole, stretching 432 yards. The hole provides a beautiful view of the city and works its way in the direction of Red Rock Canyon. The challenge on the hole comes from the long-ironed second shot. Two large bunkers guard the green and must be cleared to give golfers a chance at birdie.

One of the most difficult holes on the course is the par-3 12th. No water or sand to interfere on this hole, however, as with many courses in Las Vegas, the winds can wreak havoc. The combination of length and a prevailing headwind on the hole make for players to leave nothing in their bag.

The par-5 16th hole stretches 533 yards and requires a hefty tee shot with a 230 yard carry over a lake. From there, the fairway narrows, bordered by two large bunkers to each side. Once through there, a large green awaits you and you can attack the pin, with two bunkers guarding the front, but not much trouble in back.

The Arroyo Clubhouse caters to the public guests and members and provides a full service golf shop, men’s and women’s locker rooms, as well a bar and the Arroyo Grille with terrace dining. An expansive patio is also available and gives amazing views of Red Rock Canyon and the entire city.
Arroyo Golf Club and Red Rock Country Club have 3 clubhouses all on the same property. The Arroyo Clubhouse is for the daily fee player as well as members, while the Main Clubhouse and Sports Clubhouse cater specifically to the members of the country club. The Main Clubhouse typically has a full social calendar throughout the year, hosting several events, receptions, and banquets. The Arroyo Room boasts a gourmet cuisine and elegant and romantic dining, while more casual fare can be enjoyed at the Oasis Grill and the Palmer Lounge. The Sports Clubhouse at Red Rock Country Club is terrific for an afternoon of tennis, yoga and exercise classes, relaxation at the pool, weight training in the gym, massage therapy, as well as steam rooms being available, all under one roof.

As for the golf course, Red Rock Country Club features gently swaying palms, cascading waterfalls, and lush fairways and greens sprawling across the rolling terrain that was formerly desert. Rolling fairways, dramatic water features and multi-tiered greens characterize the private Mountain Course at Red Rock.

The community surrounding the two courses is built on 738 acres of beautifully maintained land. The community is guard-gated with well-maintained and stunning homes throughout. These homes feature luxury as well as privacy. Numbering close to one thousand, these homes start in the 6-figures and range easily up into the 7-figure range.

Memberships at the Club are available on a variety of different levels, from golf memberships to sports memberships which allow for tennis, spa, and fitness access, to purely social memberships at the Club. Golf lessons are available with a Director of Instruction as well as a PGA apprentice on staff to help you with improvements to your swing.

Red Rock Country Club is also an elegant venue for weddings and special events with stunning views of the Las Vegas area, the nearby mountains, and the Strip.

Whether you’re visiting with an opportunity to play the public Arroyo Course or the exclusive Mountain Course, Arroyo Golf Club and Red Rock Country Club will welcome you with the best of personal service and will help to assure you a terrific golf experience.
